Main Applications Description:
It is white, semitransparent and glasslike in appearance, mainly used
as desiccants, absorbents, rust inhibitors. It can protect our audio and video tapes or electronic equipment from moisture damage.
It can also be used as a carrier of catalysis and the dehydrating refinement of organic products. For example, it can be used for the purification of gas, because of its two characters of high bulky density of over 0.75 g/ml and it is more effective under low Relative Humidity (RH). For domestic uses such as to pull moisture from sweaty
garments, nappies
It also can be used in cooling systems for saving energy. The desiccant can remove moisture from the air, which releases heat and increases
the air temperature; and also it is often used in shipping of the sea to keep goods from the moisture damage; or, between the parallel double glasses of the buildings to improve the transparence of the glasses, or, in the laboratory supplies, chemicals, etc.
