The WHPTC has no polarity and Iow resistance, so it is usually series connected with other devices to form a protection circuit, which can provide the protection against over-voltage and over-current. The WHPTC resettable fuses are widely used in the communications, automotive electronics, mini-motors loudspeaker, electronic instrumentation, and a wide wariety of other electronic equipment.

1. Ih: Hold current or maximum current at which the device will not trip at 25C =8.0A
2. It: Trip current-minimum current at which the device will always trip at 25C =13. 6A
3. Vmax: Maximum voltage device can withstand without damage at rated =16V
4. Imax: Maximum fault current device can withstand without damage at rated =100A
5. Rmix: Minimum device resistance at 25C prior to tripping =0.005 ohm
6. Rmax: Maximum device resistance at 25C prior to tripping =0.017 ohm
