We can supply all kinds of glass beads for road marking, such as BS6088(A. B), EN 1423/1424, AASHTOM247, EKorean Standard, AS/NZS 2009: 2002 etc. We also can produce glass bead with the customer's special requirement.
Reflective glass beads for road marking
The beads make a continuous contribution to road safety (for drivers and pedestrians alike) with its high visible warning during darkness, heavy rain and even fog. Glass beads have the property of sending the incident rays back to its source. This means the light which comes into glass bead is refracted and then reflected within the bead, and it hits back with high efficiency to the motorists. The glass bead is a sphere. This means any directional stress-resistance of the bead is excellent.
High refractive glass beads
When the light illuminate on the glass beads surface, owing to high reflective functionality, the light focuses on the special reflective lay, strikes the back surface of glass beads and returns to its source. So you'll see the very bright reflective light. According to the complex optical formula, only when the refractive index of the glass bead more than 1.9, 2.2, the glass beads will have excellent retro-reflective effects.
