Product Description
SWS produces cylindrical roller bearings in many designs, dimension series and sizes. The majority of these are bearings with cage(s) which can accommodate heavy radial loads and can operate at high speeds. The full complement bearings (without cage) can support particularly heavy radial loads, but because of the special kinematic conditions in these bearings, they cannot be operated at such high speeds as the caged bearings.
SWS cylindrical roller bearings are state-of-the-art products. The so-called logarithmic profile contact between the rollers and raceways produces an optimum stress distribution in the bearing. The benefits derived from this compared with traditional designs include enhanced operational reliability and a greater insensitivity to misalignment.
The SWS range of cylindrical roller bearings also encompasses matched cylindrical roller bearings for railway axleboxes and also INSOCOAT TM bearings which are insulated against the passage of electric current.
