Introduction:
A software-based development kit for developers to build a flexible, scalable, and cost-effective IP media server for VoIP applications.

The VAP provides a set of high-level and easy-to-use C++ API to facilitate application developers to quickly build an application server that offers a wide variety of applications.

The VAP also includes a SIP Server with full call handling and switching functions which could be used as a stand-alone call agent (CA) to process SIP-based calls and end-point registration in a SIP-enabled network with or without other call agents or softswitches.
