Sanfod, the abbreviation of Shandong Foodstuffs Imp. & Exp. Corp., means reliable credit and confidence in Chinese. Since it was established in 1953, Sanfod has been devoting itself to providing superior foodstuffs and quality services for over 1, 000 customers from more than 120 countries and regions. And ever since it has been honoring contracts and enjoying good will in international trade.

As one of the earliest large-scale foreign trade enterprises specialized in foodstuffs I/E, depending on its great efforts during the past 40 years, Sanfod has grown into a large enterprise group, which deals with planting, food processing, cold storage, ocean shipping and land transportation. At present, Sanfod has three subsidiary companies and 16 combined enterprises in mainland China. Besides, there are six overseas branches and offices located in Japan, the USA, Germany, Czech and Ghana. Step by step, Sanfod has entered the realm of industrialization, conglomeration and internationalization.

Sanfod always puts product quality in the first place. Since awarded Quality Control Gold Star Prize by BID in 1990, the corporation has successively won gold prizes at the 13th and 14th International Food Fair in Paris (SIAL). In 1995, Sanfod took the lead in obtaining ISO 9000 approval among all of the processing plants of aquatic products in mainland China. Among the business line, marine and aquatic products, fruits, vegetables, meat, eggs and processed foods, especially garlic, chestnuts, asparagus, sea tangles and fresh vegetables enjoy high reputation in the international market for their superior quality.
