Blackwoods Sourcing Meeting Report

Blackwoods, member company of WestFarmer - the largest Australia retail group, cooperated with MIC Buyer Service Department had sourcing meeting with a member supplier from Made-in-China. Com in the afternoon on 29th, June. The buyer Ms. Xu met Mr. Shang from Zhejiang Sunny Imp. & Exp. Co., Ltd. In Blackwoods Shanghai Office. The buyer had several around supplier selection before the meeting. Blackwoods is the largest distributor of labor protection, industrial and engineering products in Australia, with hundreds of chain stores in both Australia and New Zealand. The face-face negotiation focused on working gloves procurement, it shows great efficiency and benefit to both buyer and supplier.

The supplier Mr. Shang brought not only catalogue and product photos, but also gloves samples packed in two cases for buyer check. During the meetings, the supplier talked with the buyer about key points including production and quality solutions together with factory director. The buyer Ms. Xu asked for product and delivery details while checking the samples one by one. At last of the meetings, Ms. Xu kept over ten styles of samples and would like to follow up with the supplier.
