Four H ighlights Glorifying the 9th 3C Expo ( Dongguan )

According to the news from the press conference of the 9th International Computer, Communication & Consumer Products Expo (Dongguan, China) ("3C Expo") held just a few days ago, this grand event will be hosted at Dongguan International Conference & Exhibition Center (Guangdong, China) on October 17-20, 2007.

Mr. Wu Zhanhui, secretary-general of Dongguan Municipal Government presided at this conference and Mr. Deng Zhiguang, vice mayor of Dongguan Municipal Government and deputy director of Executive Committee of the 9th 3C Expo delivered a speech.

Tyco, the world largest electric & electronic elements manufacturer, and Golden Field Industrial (Dongguan) Co., Ltd. Respectively delivered a speech on behalf of all participators in previous 3C Expo, attaching a high appraisal to the 9th 3C Expo Dongguan as a key role for the economy promotion.

Paper Communication Exhibition Services (PCES), one of the organizers of the 9th 3C Expo, is the earliest listed exposition agency in Asia. At the conference, PCES' president Mr. Liang Tienfu, made his valuable speech on how to perfect the business invitation and service.
According to the Executive Committee, the preparation of 3C Expo runs smoothly. Dozens of enterprises have consulted or singed contracts with the Committee each day since May this year. Some participators said clearly that they would ask for larger booth areas than those in last Expo.

Since initiated in 1999, 3C Expo Dongguan has been a well-known expo which is supported by Dongguan Municipal Government and is rooted in the global IT manufacturing base. For the purpose of specialization and internationalization, 3C Expo Dongguan has introduced specialized exhibition agencies since 2006 to build a best IT industrial supply chain and a high-efficient international IT procurement platform. It is said that some international well-known participators such as HP and IBM will make debut of their state-of-the-art products and release their latest S&T achievements at the upcoming 9th 3C Expo.

The eight- sessioned 3C Expo Dongguan has earned wide-spread popularity in the Pearl River Delta, and even nationwide prominence. Owing to continuous publicizing and development, 3C Expo has gained high creditability of many enterprises. The 9th 3C Expo Dongguan is expected to be staged on an upgraded floorage of 20, 000m2. According to our estimation, the 3C Expo will have about 800 participators, more than 1200 booths and over 80, 000 visitors.

Forums Upgrading the Expo

At the conference, special topic is also made to describe the current progress of China Green Electronics Manufacturing & Sustainable Economy Forum.  From the introduction of the Executive Committee, REACH Regulations will go into force on June 1st of 2007 and its pre-registration will start from June 1st of 2008 to December 1st of 2008 in pursuance of the timetable for the implementation of REACH Regulations. From January 1st of 2009, all unregistered or pre-registered products will be banned on EU market by stages. Under such a severe condition with opportunity and challenge coexisted, Dongguan, as a globally known electronics manufacturing city and with over 20 thousand E-information product manufacturers, will be inevitably in the spotlight of the global E-information industry.

Therefore, a high-level and effective forum will not only update the potentials of the 9th 3C Expo but serve as a brand-new learning and exchange platform for all participators. From the introduction, this forum has obtained the strong supports from many authorities such as Ministry of Information Industry, CCID, EU Commission and State Environmental Protection Administration of China.
