Black Silicon Carbide is produced in an electric resistance furnace from quartz sand and petroleum coke or anthracite at high temperature. The hardness and sharp particle shape of this material make it suitable for manufacturing of grinding wheels, coated products, wire saws, superior refractory materials and deoxideiser as well as for lapping, polishing and blasting.
F10-F220, F230-1200, P60-P220, P230P-1200, W63-W5, JIS240-JIS3000. Green Silicon Carbide is produced in an electric resistance furnace from quartz sand, petroleum coke and salt at high temperature. It's semi-transparet in green color with friability, high purity and high hardness. It's suited for grinding hard, brittle and non-metallic such as cemented carbides, optical glass, ceramics, etc. Available Sizes: 10-F220, F230-1200, W63-W5, JIS240-JIS3000. |
