Semi-Automatic Fire Extinguisher Powder Refilling Equipment/Powder Filler (Gfm16-1a) CE standard
Model GFM-1 dry powder filler is a new product developed by our factory after absorbing the advantages of powder fillers at home and abroad. It can quickly suck dry powder into the cylinder and be directly filled in the cylinder of the extinguisher to be filled by vacuum fluidics; The dry powder can also be directly sucked into the cylinder of the extinguisher to be filled through the filling and cover. It can directly recover the dry powder in the cylinder of the old extinguisher.

The equipment has the functions of lifting and dropping the cylinder electrically by just treading on the rise or fall pedal. It features small volume, easy movement, simple operation and lack of environmental pollution. Thus labor intensity is decreased and work environment is improved. It can fill various models of extinguisher cylinder and also suitable for filling various powder products. So it is an ideal equipment in the powder filling industry.

II. Direction for use
The filler can be used in two methods:
The first filling method:
1. Check if the connection of the hose is tight.
2. Connect the lead-in of the device to the mains and have the ground wire connected when in use;

III. Recovery of Dry Powder
1. The dry powder in the depressurized extinguisher cylinder can be recovered directly by inserting the powder suction pipe into the extinguisher cylinder. See to it that the powder should not be inserted too deeply and the inactive powder can't be sucked out.
2. The pressurized powder in the extinguisher cylinder can be recovered by inserting the powder spraying pipe of the extinguisher cylinder into the powder suction pipe of the filler. Press the "start" (Figure 2-7) button, pull out the safety bolt of the extinguisher cylinder and press the handle, the dry powder will quickly go into the cylinder (Powder type should be identified).

IV. Other Methods of Application
Hand-propelled extinguisher cylinder can be filled by the second method as its volume is great.

V. Maintenance
1. An appropriate amount of 20# lubricant should be filled into the driving parts of the elevator before each use.
2. When the powder suction pipe is working, it should not be inserted too deeply, or blockage of pipe may occur.
3. No dry powder with serious corrosion and above-norm moisture content can be used against damage of equipment.

VI. Common Faults and Their Removal
Symptoms  Cause  Corrections
Suction pipe doesn't work after start-off
1. Too much dry powder in the cylinder
1. Open the valve below the powder cylinder and tread on the pedal of direction valve to release the powder.
2. Pipe and its connection not sealed tightly.
2. Check the leakage and repair.
Initially, powder can be sucked up. Suddenly, interruption happens without suction.  The suction pipe is inserted into the powder too much to block the pipe.
1. Remove the suction pipe, empty the powder blocked in the pipe and clean up the valve.
2. Never insert the suction pipe into the powder too much.
In the process, much powder is discharged from the filter
1. The filter in the powder cylinder leaks
2. The filter in the powder cylinder is damaged and the valve of the powder cylinder is out of order.
1. Repair the leakage.
2. Replace the filter and valve.

Direction valve can't change direction
1. The spring in the valve body is damaged.
1. Replace the spring
2. Rubbish exits between the valve body and vent peg.
2. Remove the vent peg, clean up the rent peg and valve body and reset them.
3. The valve body is rusty  3. Remove the vent peg, clear away the rust, apply 20 lubricant and clean up with cotton thread.
