PC

Description
PC is a high efficiency, low addition rate polycarboxylate-based high range water reducer designed for the production of a wide range of concrete mixes, from conventional to Self-Consolidating Concrete. It is designed to impart extreme workability without segregation to the concrete.

Uses
PC is a plant-added superplasticizer that is formulated to impart improved workability to the concrete and to achieve high early compressive strength as required by the precast industry. PC can be used for the production of Self-Consolidating Concrete(SCC) inprecast/prestressed applications and may be used in conventional concrete production.

PC may be used in low water-cementitious ratio applications where concrete stability and improved tolerance to concrete material variability are required. PC may be used to produce concrete with very low water/cementitious Ratios while maintaining normal levels of workability.

High durability: Effectively improves the frost resistance and carbonation resistance of the concrete. Lower drying shrinkage of the concrete by 20% or more compared to naphthalene-based admixture.
Addition Rates
Cx0.5-1.5% for (solid). Compared to naphthalene admixtures, the dosage is less than 20% to 30%.

Application Notes
When mixing and measuring the slump loss, be aware that it takes longer time to be in effect than Nephthalene admixtures.
It cannot be added together with rosin soup air entrainer.
Cannot be kept in metal container for too long.
Do not mixed with naphthalene-based admixture. If other admixtures, such as set retarder or corrosion-inhibiting admixture, are required simultaneously for some special projects, compatibility tests should be conducted beforehand.
Package, Storage & Handling
For powder: Woven fabric bag with plastic liner. Net weight: 25kg +/- 0.13 kg
Cautions should be taken to prevent form being torn by sharp-ended objects while packages are being transferred or delivered. When being contaminated by high humidity or moisturein cPCe of leakage, it can be prepared in prescribed ways for further use without surrendering any effect.
It should be stored in a dedicated warehouse that is well-ventilated and dry. It remains effective in one year. After the expiration, date, it can be used again if testing results fall within the established range.
