SM

Description
SM is a high-range water reducer, commonly referred to as a superplasticizer. It is an anionic melamine polycondensate and is non-toxic and contains no chlorides. SM is the best one of existing concrete admixture in comprehensive properties. It is able to prepare high-strength concrete and flowing concrete by adding SM into Ordinary Portland Cement.

The addition of SM to concrete disperses cement agglomerates normally found in a water-cement suspension. This increased dispersion produces a more efficient cement hydration, resulting in higher strength and more durable concrete. This improved cement dispersion also results in a more flowable concrete.

Uses
SM is recommended for use in all ready-mix, precast, and prestress concrete applications where low water-cement ratio, low permeability, durable, high-strength concrete is specified or high slump flowable concrete is required

This product can be applied in the high strength concrete, the high fluidity concrete, the high duration concrete, the aluminate cement refractory concrete or the low cement refractory concrete, the grouting materials, the steam curing concrete, the high strength mortar, the gypsum products, The self-flowing ground, the stuffing materials, the grouting materials, and so on.

It also can be used as the brightened agent for manufacturing the coloured ground brick and the tunnel liner. The liquid product can be used as the mother liquor to compound the other additional agent.

Principle Technical Data
For dosage within 0.5-1.0% by weight of cement, the water reduction rate will be 20-25%

When dosage is appropriate, it is able to increase the compressive strength of concrete and mortar by 40-100% at one day, by 30-60% at 28 days. The later age strength also in crease (about 20%).
It is able to prepare high strength concrete (60-80Mpa, even higher) by using 45.5#-55.5# Ordinary Portland Cement.
Adding SM to refractory concrete, from Aluminous Cement, the strength after drying at 110 temperature degree and after burning at high temperature will increases obviously(by 60-170% for compressive).
Because of no air-entrainment SM can be used curing of concrete and their products.

Package, Storage & Handling
For powder: Woven fabric bag with plastic liner. Net weight: 20kg +/- 0.13 kg
This powder is easy to absorb the moisture from the air. So it must be kept in the original sealed bag and stored at the dry place. The storage period is one year.
This product is non-toxin and non-flammable. So the transportation requirement is general.
