Line type surge arrester is a new type over-voltage protection device. It has teeny power-flow current, dependable arc blow-out, excellent stain resistance, electrical erosion resistance, aging resistance, small volumn, light weight, invariable damanagement, maintainance simple, withstand multiple impulse etc. Characteristics. This surge arrester apply to the transmission lines to prevent lines from lightning impulse, reduce rate of lightning trip-out. Especially this surge arrester is used for the area with frequency lightning impulse, large soil resistivity and difficult line patrol.
