P42 Camo USMC Uniform
This two piece camouflage uniform was issued prior to the Tarawa landings and is one of the most sought after Marine Corps uniforms. This is the "first pattern uniform" used throughout most of the pacific campaign. Both garments are made from the same two sided camo HBT fabric as the army uniforms and helmet covers. However, the USMC uniform is fully reversible.
These are not drastically oversized. As the Marines were fighting in the tropics, Our reproductions were patterned from original WWII samples. Using the correct double needle chain stitch machinery, khaki thread and US made camo HBT cloth. Uniforms are slightly oversized to account for shrinkage. We screen the EGA's on the pockets.
