Product Description
The CEE BlQ-17/45 M. O. V. Elbow Surge Arrester combines mettal oxide varistor technology in a pre-molded rubber elbow to provide overvoltage system protection in an insulated, full shielded, submersible, deadfront device. It is typically used at the end point of a radial circuit or at the open point of a loop-feed circuit to provide surge protection in a more compact configuration.
CEE BLQ-17/45 Elbow Surge Arrester housing interface conforms to ANSI/IEEE 386 standard 386--Separable Insulated Connector System. The arrester housing is molded with high quality EPDM insulating material, when mated with a comparably rated product, it provides a fully shielded insulating connecter for energized operation.
CEE BLQ-17/45 Bushing Surge Arrester provides high voltage lighting and switching surge protection of transformers, cable, equipment and other components typically located on underground power distribution systems.
