Dernoo Germanium Factory

Dernoo Germanium Factory is a professional factory to produce germanium materials. The factory has already had a history of 40 years for researching and producing a series of product of germanium, scattered metals, high-purity metals and special mono-crystalline materials.

In 1989, it is authorized 2ND grade National Enterprise. It authentication of ISO9002 Quality System has carried in July 2000. Factory has five hundred staff and workers, and 110 senior engineers and engineers. There are various equipments and instruments for Hydrometallurgy, Five-chemical technology, special metallurgy, crystal growth and processing of fine-alloys, and strong technical power to exploit independently the special materials.

Now the principle products are a series of germanium, indium and gallium. Recently the germanium output is over 10 tons a year. It has been the biggest germanium producer in China. Its products, germanium dioxide, germanous ingot and monocrystal germanium are confirmed as superior quality products by Chinese National Non-ferrous Metals General Company and the Government of Jiangsu Province, so enjoy great prestige in the world market.

Recently, factory researches and exploits enthusiastically new usage of germanium, develops infrared optical mono-crystal germanium, the germanium dioxide with super-low chlorine content used for nuclear detector and space grade germanium wafers used for space solar-cell, have squeeged in front of the profession in world. Indium output has also reached 10 tons, and has been one of principle indium producers in China. Gallium is exploited new-product last year, now its producing capacity has been 2 tons a year, and to be preparing to produce the super-purity gallium.
