HPS2DB, which is developed basic on the other series of the softstarter of Hapn, uses double MCU form. The main CMOS chip of the softstarter uses the new microprocess technology to make communication, solove the fault, collect signal and set parameters and so on in order to have the triger control of sillcon controlled. The parameters which would suit for most of the load has been set in advance when the softstarter leave factory, and it would be easily reset by the keysets. The non-volatile memory, which has perfectely protection and commication function, insure that the data would be saved well. The softstarter would be communicated by field bus, including start, stop, reset, and the reading or writing the parameters. It would also work with the communication agreements of Modbus, Profibus, DeviceNet and so on. It has Anolog signals outputs and the control process would be upgraded online.
