Product Description
Ascorbic Acid, Vitamin C. Odorless white to light yellow crystals or powder.
Use: Ascorbic acid is added to many foods for its nutritive value, but is also used extensively as an anti-oxidant, to prevent flavors and colors from being damaged by oxidation. It is often used in canned or frozen fruits to prevent the browning that accompanies oxidation.
Stores: Keep in a tightly closed container, stored in a cool, dry, ventilated area. Protect against physical damage. Isolate from any source of heat or ignition. Isolate from incompatible substances. Containers of this material may be hazardous when empty since they retain product residues (dust, solids); Observe all warnings and precautions listed for the product.
