It is light yellow powder, emulsified after water dissolving. It is soluble in inorganic acid. Its molecular formular is Fe4(P2O7)3*xH2O and its molecular weight is 745.22. It can be widely used in dairy products, flour, rice flour, edible salt, health products and medicine.

It also conforms with the requirements of FCC IV.
