Locking Assembly (Z2)

Locking assembly and shrink disk are the advanced basic components which are widely applied in the connection of heavy-load machinery wordwide. In the connection of the wheels and shafts, it depends upon the pressure and friction of the containing surfaces resulting from tightening the high-strength bolts for the transmission of load.

1, Installation
The locking asscmblics, greased in the factory, can be readily installed foroperation. During the installation, first screw 3 bolts 4 into the holes along thecircumferenc of the fange at an equal distance to push loose the inner and outer 2 bushes and then place the locking assemblies into the desi gned hole and tighten the bolts with atorque wrench. Each bolt should be turned to onequarter of rated torque each time until the rated torque eachtime until therated torque is competely reached.
2, Disassembly
Gradually release all bolts by several tums and the screw the bolts 4 into the disassembly sctrw hole to push loose the locking assembly.
3, Protection
Care should be taken to prevent locking assembly from being contaminated in istallation. No MoS2 is the machinery in the adverse envion: Ent, rust-resisting grease should be applied ont exposedd end ofthe locking assemblies and bolts. Locking assemblies with good rustresisting performance should be selected.
