Product Description

Optic I is a fully featured digital teleset that includes a 40-character alphanumeric display, multi-line capability, speaker phone, messaging, speed-dial, feature access keys, and user prompting for operation and programming.

The Optic's powerful multi-line capability supports executive call screening, in which a group of one or more secretaries can screen up to 63 executive extensions. Executives can have up to four extensions on one phone, each of which can be screened, monitored, or private.

An enhanced version of Optic I can offer alternate voice and data using a single pair of wires. An RS-232-C connector is mounted on the rear of the teleset for connection to any one of a number of compatible data devices. Alternate voice and data allows users to make a data call while at the same time leaving the line open for ring through of telephone calls.
