Specificity: White flake, column or needle crystal. It is bitter. Relative density is 1.405. It is soluble in water and alcohol, almost insoluble in ethyl ether. Melting point is 180-182ˇăC. It is highly reactive and used for the manufacture pf various compounds.
Application: Used as intermediates in the manufacture of medicine and pesticide, as vulcanization accelerator in rubber industry, as flotation agent in mining, as fabric and paper treatment agent in printing and dyeing, as anticorrosion agent etc.
