Cylindrical rollers have linear contact with the raceway, and the bearings can carry heavier load. Applications are found in situations characterized by heavy load and shock load and also high rotation speed.

The EntrustBearing range of cylindrical roller bearings comprises the basic types

Single row, caged, mainly of NU, NJ, NUP and N designs
Double row, caged, mainly of the NNU and NN designs
Multi-row, caged
Cages: Glass fibre reinforced polyamide 6, 6 cage, pressed steel cage, machined brass cage, steel pin-type cages.
