Rosin Pentaerythrite Resin is the product of esterification of rosin with pentaerythrite. It's a transparent irregular solid after vacuum treatment. It can soluble in tar, ester, turpentine oil and similar solvents; Insoluble in alcoholic solvents; Partially soluble in petroleum products; Mix well with vegetable oils; Light colored; Resistant to yellowing; Heat resistant; Highly adhesive. It is widely used for ester glue phenolic resin paints (through polymerization with vegetable oils); Widely used in glue industry as low cost enhancer for hot-melt, pressure-sensitive and other types of adhesives.
