Sodium/Potassium Amyl Xanthate

Structure formula:

Appearance: Pale yellow to grey yellow free-flowing powder or pellet, soluble in water.

Application: It is the strongest but least selective of the xanthate range of reagents used in the flotation of metal sulphides and gold bearing pyrite.
