TlBr crystals are promising materials as room temperature X- and gamma ray detectors.

In the field of the detection of the hard X- and gamma-ray radiation, the single crystal TlBr is a promising candidate as a room temperature gamma-ray detector due to its high stopping power, density (7.56 g/cm3) and band gap (2.68 eV). In recent reviews on semiconductor radiation detectors, this material was recommended for the future development since its transport properties were still plagued by material problems. These problems are related to material purity and crystal quality, as well to various treatments during the detector manufacturing. Perhaps, non-uniformity of the contemporary single crystals produced by different methods and from various manufacturers is the main reason to the poor hole transport and instability of electrical parameters in detectors. The purity and crystal quality were improved by hydrothermal annealing in pure water. The undesired electrical properties are connected to proceeding of manufacturing process.

There are only a few detector manufacturers in the world. The manufacturing process is complex and has advance stages. In addition the pure material supply is needed. Golden Bull have both, as excess to TlBr pure raw materials as excess to technology and manufacturing process of TlBr crystals. We are willing to develop TlBr detectors globally and we have capacity to provide TlBr crystals to any part of the world. We strongly believe in TlBr future in many industries, especially for space astrophysics, medicine and military applications.
