2,2,2-Trifluorine ethyl alcohol ( English name is 2,2,2-Trifluoroethanol, TEF or TFEA) is one important fluorine intermediate belonging to fatty group contain. The unique physical-chemical properties as well as the special molecular structure enable its different performance compared with other alcohol type. It is one of fine organic solvent and the organic synthesis intermediate, and is widely applied in the agricultural chemicals, the medicine synthesis, the dye synthesis, fluorine material, and thermodynamics working substance. TEF has stable chemical property, does not decompose when distillation, also does no harm the ozone layer. It is dangerous when contact with open fire, oxidant and substance with high temperature.
