Product Description
Rosin modified phenolic resin is reddish brown and transparent solid that is the esterification product of glycerol (or pentaerythritol) and the polycondensation product of phenols, formaldehyde and rosin.
Characteristics
Good lipid solubility.
High gloss, high hardness
Quick drying
Higher viscosity, softening point
Resistant to yellowing, heat resistant, and good adhesion power.
Soluble in: Ester, vegetable oil, turpentinet.
Suggested Applications
Lacquer, adhesive, printing ink (phenolic tempered paint, chloroprene rubber adhesive agent), natural resin varnish, all-purpose adhesive; Phenolic varnish, planographic offset printing ink,
