Product Description

The serial products of asbestos-free brake material are produced by the factory through introducing the technological achievements and production line of Beijing Institute of Aeronautic Materials. These products include automobile brake blocks, clutch plates, major plates, engineering machinery and brake parts assembly, knuckle ball assembly and braking clamps.

The asbestos-free brake materials have 15 major formulations, whose technologies have been taking the lead in China. They have successively passed the technological appraisal of the former Ministry of Aero-Space Industry and the Machinery and Electronics Departments of the Ministry of Machinery and Electronics, the test of the State Surveillance and Inspection Center of Automobile Quality, the approval of British IFI Company and the SAEJ661A standard authentication experiment of the American Society of Automobile Engineers. Above 75% of the products are sold abroad. The product quality has reached the international level of the same kind and the leading level at home.

Introduction to Asbestos-Free Brake Materials

1. WS-08 asbestos-free brake material adopts a new high polymer as its binder and is compounded with special frictional regulator and grain-shape fortifier. It has the characteristics of high level of friction coefficient, small heat attenuation and good flame retardance. The product is most suitable for manufacturing the mechanical brake blocks and clutch facings, which are used in mines, and is applicable to the asbestos-free brake material of the braking parts in the light textile machinery.

2. WS-45 asbestos-free brake material adopts heat resistance synthetic resin as its binder and synthetic rubber as its flexibilizer, and is reinforced by mixing the superfine fiber. The new type asbestos-free brake material is produced by utilizing special techniques. It has the characteristics of small gravity, stable frictional performances and high strength. It is the perfect brake material for the clutch facings of mould pressed automobiles.

3. WS-65 semi metallic brake material is the perfect material for producing the linings pieces of the disc brake of automobiles. This material adopts steel fiber as its fortifier and heat resistant synthetic resin as its binder. It is a three-dimension composite structure material, which contains a friction performance regulator to form stable transfer films on the friction surfaces. It also contains transition layers of materials of high adhesiveness and flexibility. Therefore, the disc brake block has the characteristics of stable frictional performances, sensitivity of brake, low noise, safe operation and long service life. It is thought it has a wider application field by the American customers according to the SAE specifications. It can be widely used as all types of disc brake blocks.

4. WS-85 brake material for heavy-duty vehicles is a new kind of asbestos-free brake material. Because it synthesizes the advantages of semi-metal and fiber glass, it has good frictional performances and sufficient mechanical strength. It can be used to produce all kinds of disk and drum brake blocks for medium-duty and heavy-duty vehicles. The highest operation temperature is 3500c.

5. WS156 brake material exploits synthetic rubber and modified heat resistant resin as its binder and fiber glass as its reinforced material. It contains a new type of frictional performance regulator. This material has good performances and can be used for brake lining pieces of engineering machinery, electromagnetic clutches, drum brake lining pieces of light and medium-duty vehicles and clutch facings. The performances and service life have already reached the level of the same kinds of products overseas.
