LEDs are sensitive to Static Electricity. They will function for a long time if used within the Specifications listed. However, we can not gurantee how the LEDs will perform in your application.

LEDs: MTBF 100,000 hours with correct voltage and current in friendly ambient enviroment. Failure rate based on long time testing: less than 1 per 10,000,000 light hours. Light declination: ---Hewlett Packard/Cree chips 5% of brightness after 30~40,000 hours. ---Other chips (Optotech etc.) 50% of brightness after 30~40,000 hours.

Important: Avoid any possible contact of LEDs with static electricity: -anything which touches the LED MUST be grounded -employees MUST have antistatic garment -floors MUST have antistatic adjustment -environment MUST NOT be dry!

Using higher currents increase the brightness, but shorten the life of LEDs!
