Spandex is linear block copolymer, and its molecular structure contains two chain segments, one is soft chain segment which gives elasticity to fiber, the other is hard chain segment which gives molecular interaction force to fiber and ensures a certain level of strength of fiber. Unique molecular structure gives spandex super stretch and comeback capability. Spandex fiber can be stretched to 5-8 times of its length and recovery percentage is high as 98%. Its elasticity is better than any type of fiber in the world. Besides, spandex fiber is thin, high strength, low specific gravity, good chromaticity and color fastness. Instructions for Application of Huahai Brand Spandex
1. You should strictly differentiate the batch number when using spandex. Spandexes with different batch numbers should not be mixed up in use. It is recommended to use spandexes with the date of production and use them sequentially according to the production date in order to avoid unevenness of elasticity on cloth surface or dyeing strip. Etc.
2. When using spandex, you should ensure the stabilization of temperature and humidity with a optimum temperature of workshop at in order to avoid unevenness of elasticity on cloth surface or dyeing stripes, etc 25± 5. Before using, you should move spandexes in to the production department, and then unpack and place them for more than 24 hours (it must be done if in winter). Otherwise, the quality of spandex yarn will be adversely affected.
3. You should properly and reasonably choose the elongation ratio of spandex yarn. If the weaving process of clad silk and core-spun yarn will easily make spandex break and cause quality deteriororation. Similarly, excessive input tension of rounding machine will make hidden-bar come out due to the deviation of tension, and consequently decrease the quality of fabrics.
4. Setting temperature Control:
Dry setting temperature should be controlled within 160-190º C(with the time of 30-60 seconds) wet setting temperature should be controlled within 110-120º C(within 30 seconds without drafting)
Note: For the thermal efficiency is subject the mode fo creasing machine and setting machine, fabric structure as well as the fineness of silk in use, please take the reference of 180º C for dry-setting and 120º Cfor wet-setting, and integrate them with the setting time. 5. Do not use chlorine bleach. You are recommended to use oxygenic bleach.
6. When keeping spandex and any products made of spandex, you should prevent them from too high temperature and direct sunlight. Being stored in temperature of below zero, the quality of spandex will be dramatically damaged.
