Calcium Aluminates Cement (CA50-1)
Calcium Aluminates Cement was also called High Alumina Cement and Refractory Cement for a time. It is a kind of hydraulic binding material produced by acclimating raw meal consisting of selected bauxite and limestone in a rotary kiln at high temperature and grinding the clinker into powder. The main mineral is mono-calcium aluminates (CA) which contains alumina (Al2O3) is 50~60%.
(1).High early strength, quick setting and rapid hardening. One day's strength can be up to 70% of final strength at least.
(2).High heat hydration, emitting of heat hydration is concentrated.
(3).Good property of anti-frost. It can harden normally even if temperature at 0ºC.
(4).Good property of anti-sulfate attacking.
(5).Good property of refractoriness (about 1370ºC). The concrete prepared with senior refractory aggregate, its refractoriness may be up to 1500ºC above.
(6).It mainly used in some special projects such as the emergency repairing, emergency constructing, anti-sulfate attacking and wintertime construction, etc.
Notes:*
(1).If customer requires special particle size, we can manufacture the material as requested.
(2).If customer has special requirement for 6h strength, the reference Bending Strength is ¡Ý3.0Mpa, Compressive Strength is ¡Ý20Mpa.
(3).If customer has special requirement for chemical components and physical property, we also can produce as requested.
(4).According to the regulation of GB201-2000, we should offer the testing report of S, Cl when the customer requires or the buyer and seller have the related agreement.
3. Attention:
According to the Appendix of GB201-2000, when it is used in construction, please note the following:
(1).In the process of construction, generally, it is shouldn't be mixed with jell-like materials such as silicate cement, lime, etc. which may separate out calcium hydroxide in order to prevent out of control for the setting time. Before it is used, the blending equipment and other relevant equipments must be thoroughly cleaned by water.
(2).It shouldn't be used in those projects which have mixed with alkaline solution.
(3)When selecting the water-reducing agent, it should be tested firstly.
(4).It should not be steam curing.
(5).When selecting the aggregate and powder material, its particle size and chemical component must be up to the mustard. Besides, the harmful impurities such as iron, sulfur, alkaline, chlorine and lime, etc., should meet requirement.
(6).Keeping in dry conditions and preventing humidity during storage and transportation. Don't mix with other variety of cements.
