1. General
DTSD545 three-phase static energy meter is designed for measuring active and reactive energy by connecting to industrial power supply system, which has firm structure, good appearance and wide practicability. It has high reliability for the adoption of large-scale integration and SMT technology. The meter can measure real time active/reactive/apparent power, voltage, current, power factor and frequency. During its operation, the meter can record historical energy & demand data and abnormal event. We can design the meter with different functions according to user requirement, so it can be widely utilized in transmission & distribution system and Automatic Meter Reading system. The meter complies with the technical standard IEC62053-21, IEC62053-23 and communication protocol IEC62056-21.

4. Basic functions
4.1.Energy measurement
4.1.1.Positive and negative active/reactive energy measurement, and save 12 months energy record.
4.1.2.Three modes of calculation of positive active energy:
a).Positive energy is sum of absolute value of positive and negative energy.
b).Positive is sum of algebraic value of positive and negative energy.
c).When power reverse, positive energy is sum of absolute value of positive and negative energy.
The rest situation, positive energy is sum of algebraic value of positive and negative energy. Reactive energy can be programmable to four quadrants combination.
4.2.TOU:
The meter allow for 4-tariff time of use schedule to be programmed.
4.3.RTC:
The meter have Real Time Clock, accuracy error is less than 0.5s/day.

User may set maximum 8 days as automatic meter reading day in each month.
It can record maximum 12 months energy data.
4.7. Operation status indication
Two LED indicate active and reactive impulse output.
One LED light indicates the meter wrong phase connection sequence. LCD signal indicate abnormal situation, details refer LCD display explanation.
4.8.Diagnose and event record
4.8.1.Event record: Record starting and ending time of latest 10 times events, such as over voltage, voltage loss, over current, current loss, phase outage, unbalance current, phase sequence reverse, low power factor, reverse energy, overload, neutral wire ground fault, memory error, tide current and mete cover open. User may set time delay value for the events, only the events lasting time exceed the setting value, the meter will ascertain the event and record it.
4.10.Communication Ports
4.10.1.Standard communication ports include one optical port and one RS485 port.
4.10.2.Another optional communication port can be PLC communication for AMR system, or RS232 and RS485.
