1. Features
DTSD546-series meter are cost-effective multi-functional metering Device for commercial and industrial applications. The meter offers the Powerful functions such as TOU (Time-of-Use) metering, various energy and power measurements, huge metering/interval data and events recording, instantaneous measurement and instrumentation, optional PQM (Power Quality Monitoring), and extended output and communication. The following figure shows an exterior of the DTSD546 series meter. 2. Metering capabilities The meter can measure and record a billing data like energy and demand data based on a metering channel configuration which can set up to 4-channels. Also, the meter can measure the quadrant energy and the combination of each quadrant energy quantities. For more requirements, the demand measuring and recording channel can be set separately with the energy metering and recording channel. 3. TOU metering The meter can adopt up to 8-tariff TOU metering capabilities including 8-switching points per day, 12-day schedules, 8-week groups, and more than 600-holidays. Additionally, the meter provides a unique TOU function that each metering and recording channels can be set to be an exclusive TOU program. 4. Load profile With non-volatile memory, the interval data can be stored and secured, permanently. Up to 8-recording channels can be set as a recording channel. And the meter provides with more than 70-days storage capacity under the conditions that are 15-minute interval and 4-recording channels. 5. Instrumentation With an instantaneous measurement, the meter can show electrical information of the meter installation like power, voltages, amperes, frequency, phase angles, and more information. That electrical information can be shown up on a diagnostic display mode. An electrician can find out an erroneous status of the meter installation by checking the electrical information on the diagnostic display mode. 6. Power supply The meter use three-phase voltages as an operating voltage. Accordingly, the meter can measure, record, and store all related billing data including the revenue data, interval data, instantaneous data, event logs with the time stamp, and other information even if only one phase voltage exists. 7. Event log With default function, the meter can record an event log with the time stamp, such as power failure, power restoration, demand reset, date/time adjustment, and others. 8. Extended output The meter provides with up to 3-relay outputs for active energy pulse, reactive energy pulse, EOI (End of Interval) synchronization, and load control. Also, the pulse duration can be set as several milliseconds. 9. Communication The meter provides several communication ways for the meter reading and programming on an installation site or remote site. The following communications can be used with the meter: IEC-62056-21 compatible optical port Direct RS-232 10. Parameter Voltage: AC 63.5/110/220V Current: 1.5(6.0), 10(60), 10(100)A Frequency Nominal: 50Hz 5 % (Option: 60Hz) Temperature: -25 ~ 75 Humidity: Up to 100% non-condensing Power loss: Less than 2W Accuracy: 0.5, 1.0 class Accuracy variations: Voltage coefficient = 0.03% Temperature coefficient = 0.03% per Starting current: <0.001 In Startup delay: <3 sec Communication: Optical port 9600 baud Direct RS232 9600 baud Standards IEC 62052-11 IEC62053-22 23 IEC 62056-21 |
