DDS1088 is designed and manufactured on the basis of advanced measuring chip, well-matured multi-tariff technology, and digital sampling technology and SMT technology, for the application of residential power consumption metering in residential places.

This meter has the functions of TOD metering, month end data transfer, programming and reading by CMRI or PC, LCD display, etc. Totally 6 tariffs and 6 time zones are provided. It also has the anti-tamper features, as well as functions that can register the events of opening of meter cover. The display support operation without power supply with the backup battery.

The meter complies with IS13779 and CBIP No. 88 with their latest amendments, the communication protocol complies with IEC62056.
