The CDI -activated Sepharose CL 6B from Hotgen is a pre-activated affinity chromtograhy matrix, which takes Sepharose CL 6B of high purity as bead by CDI (l, l'-Carbonyldiimidazole) method. The CDI -activated Sepharose CL 6B is stored in acetone. According to the instruction, the operator could couple it with protein easily.
Compared with usual Sepharose activated by cyanogens bromide method, it is high in coupling efficiency, easy to handle; Furthermore, the affinity adsorbents from the operation is devoid of effects of ion exchangers, such as the resin activated by hydrogen bromide method has strong charge which leads to nonspecific adsorption.
