Flex-c trac is designed to make life easier for the builder needing to construct curved walls.
Pivotal sections make it easy to shape Flex-C Trac by hand.
Slidable straps allow the pivotal sections to be sucured with self-tapping screws.
Another opition for securing the radius is to screw through the prepunched holes in the bottom of the overlapping plates.

wood or metal studs work equally well with flex-c trac
1. Bend the track to the desired position. The pivotal sections of the track make it easy to create the perfect curve with no uneven or flat spots.
2. On a hard surface, hammer the Hammer-Lock tabs to embed them into the web. This secures the track into shape. For more strength and for gauges without the Hammer-Lock feature, install self-tapping screws into the side of the Flex-C Trac.
3. Fasten the track to the floor or ceiling. This solid span of steel provides for a strong installation.
4. Insert and fasten studs as usual. |
