Product Description
The H13 steel is of chrome- molybdenum-vanadium alloy tools steel. Apply particular steel-making technology and strict quality control to get fine structure. Compared with traditional melting system, the isotropy of 8407 steel is more excellent, which is of more value to the properties of mechanical tire resistance and hot stress, such as casting dies, forging dies, extrusion dies and so on. Therefore, the hardness of 8407 is 1~2HRC higher than that of common H13 but not affect flexibility. High hardness can prevent from heat cracking and improve service life.
Application: Various metal casting dies, extrusion dies, high quality plastic dies, example: Engine dies, auto lamps dies and so on.
Characteristics: Excellent properties of heat resistance and crack resistance, good machining property.
