Main ingredients:
It is mainly made of Rhizoma Coptidis from Sichuan, a kind of natural medicinal material, which contains rich isoquinoline alkaloid for antibiosis, anti-inflammatory, anti-ulcer, disinhibiting gallbladder and hemostasis, etc. Its main ingredient is coptisine and worenine.

Actions and indications:
Clear heat and dry dampness, drain fire and resolve toxin.
Used for damp-heat glomus and fullness, emesis, diarrhea, jaundice, hyperpyrexia and coma, exuberant heart fire, vexation and sleeplessness, blood ejection and spontaneous external bleeding due to blood heat, red eyes, acid swallowing, toothache, wasting-thirst, and swollen welling abscess and clove sores.

Pharmacological action:
Antibiotics: The antibacterial spectrum is broad. Its antibacterial action for Bacillus dysenteriae is the most powerful, and more powerful than Sulfanilamide. It has obvious depressant effect for Staphylococcus aureus, pneumococci, meningococcus, Bacillus diphtheriae, streptococcus, gonococcus and Bacillus tuberculosis.

Antivirus: It has depressant effect for various influenza virus and Newcastle virus, such as A/PR/8, FM1, B/Lee, C/1233, etc.
Anti-protozoon: resists Amoeba both in vitro and ex vitro.
Other: It has soothing functions of relieving fever and lowering blood pressure, and adjunctive therapy for diabetes.

Dosage and administration
Orally, 2-6 pills each time, three times daily.
