Product Description

We developed fiberglass water heater insulation blanket with clients, using fiberglass blanket as main insulation and laminated with different material as surface, such as vinyl PVC, Karft paper reinforced alu-foil, shining alu-foil etc. We can tailor make for client with different sizes, and designs.

The water heater blanket has several features:
Prevents heat loss, save up to 20% in water heater costs
Fits 33, 40 and 60 gallon water heaters
Electric and gas water heater compatible
Easy to install

1) Install the top piece
Using a utility knife cut partially across the top piece where necessary to make the insulation fit the top of the water heater. Then tape it in place. If you do apply insulation to the top of a gas water heater, be sure not to block the draft diverter.

2) Insulate the sides
Wrap the sides of the heater with the larger blanket in the kit, and use tape to secure it to the water heater tape the seams. Cut carefully around controls and the drain. With a gas heater, keep the blanket well away from the air intake and the burner area as well.

3) Finished
