Feature: Hexabromocyclododecane appears as white to off-white crystalline powder with a melting point of 180 degree Min. The heat stability of this compound will remain under the condition of over 200 degree. It can not be used in high polymer till the temperature reaches 235 degree. This product can be dissolved in following organic solvents of alcohol, ketone and ester such as methyl alcohol, ethanol, banana oil, acetone etc.
Usage: Hexabromocyclododecane is developed especially for EPS, textiles, adhesives and coatings (together with antimony trioxide), and it can also be applied to HIPS, PP, rubber and epoxy resin. Hexabromocyclododecane after heat treating are mainly used in HIPS, PP, PE and other thermosetting plastics and polymers.
