Product Description
RSBA 1000 is designed for use on pressurized cables with polyethylene and metal sheath. Both straight and branched (max 3 in or out cables) closures can be installed. The closure is suitable for aerial, buried and ducted applications, applications on polyethylene or lead sheathed cable in sizes up to 3600 pairs.
RSBA 1000 is made from high quality hot-melt adhesives and fiber-reinforcing heat shrinkable sleeves. The fiber-reinforcing heat shrinkable sleeves are composed of several layers of specially blended polymers adhesives, and a fiber-reinforcing layer. The sleeves provide excellent mechanical strength, and eliminate the propagation of localized damage that can result from overheating in installation.
