CM1 series moulded case breakers are one of the new type breakers, which have been developed by the plant using international advanced design and manufacturing technology. The breakers are of the following characteristics: compact size, high breaking capacity , short are-over distance and shakeproof. The rated insulation voltage of the breakers is 800V(CM1-63 is 500V), suitable for turn-on or turn-off not frequently and starting a motor not frequently in the circuit of AC50Hz, rated working voltage 690V or below (CM1-63 is 400V) and rated working current up to 800V. The breakers have overload, short-circuit and under-voltage protection devices, so as to protect the circuit and the power equipment against damage. The breakers could be installed vertically (upright) or horizontally (transverse). The breakers have been attested as "the National New Product" by former the State Committee of Science and Technology. It has also been chosen as "the Famous New Product", "the High and New Technology Product in JiangSu" by the Scientific Committee of JiangSu Province.
