Functions Introduction:
Follow the instructions of doctors or nurses set total volume and flow rate of an infusion. The pump will accomplish the task automatically.
Keep Vein Open (KVO)
When finish the total volume of an infusion, the pump will alarm and enter KVO state.
Light and Sound Alarm
The pump will alarm when IV SET blocked, air bubble in line, pump door open, infusion finished or battery low. The pump will make a sound and illume corresponding lamps to call the nurse in time.
AC/DC
The pump can be powered by external alternate current or build-in rechargeable Nickel Mental Hydrogen (NIMH) battery. The pump will switch the power mode when AC power failure and recharge the battery when battery low automatically. When battery is about to be exhausted, the pump will alarm and call the nurse to handle in time.
Bolus
When the pump is stop, bolus function can be used to remove air in line or remove air bubble alarm.
Flow Rate Setting mode
Flow rate can be set in 2 methods: Drip per minute, milliliter per hour. Users can use either method to set flow rate.
Caution: Approximate 20 drips per milliliter, but the drips per milliliter will vary from different liquid density.
Self Check when Power on
When power on, the pump will make a self test to test if all parts were in order, all lamps are lighted. If any part is not in order, the corresponding lamp will turn off.
Volume accumulate display and zero
The pump can accumulate infusion volume, and the user can reset the volume display to zero.
