This is a highly sophisticated two-hand clock placed on a sloping board at a 10-degree angle. It is not spring-activated, but the movement of the clock as it rolls down the board engages the gear system and thus the pendulum. The clock's movement along the 55cm. long board takes a total of 24 hours. As a result, the clock  has to be replaced at the top of the board once a day.
