Application: Nano-TiO2 can not only absorb but also emit and scatter UV rays, thus has good resistance to UV rays. Compared with same dosage of organic anti-UV additives, it has higher absorption peaks in ultraviolet spectrum; In addition, unlike organic anti-UV additives which screen only UVA or UVB, nano-TiO2 prevents both UVA and UVB. Because of this, nano-TiO2 attracts wide attention and is gradually taken as a substitute of some organic anti-UV additives. Now it has become an excellent anti-UV additive for sunscreen cosmetics.
