The photocatalytic textile finishing agent is a stable water-based dispersing-finishing agent made with self-developed photocatalyst using internationally advanced technologies. Through curing processes, the agent enters and sets onto the fabric fibers to endow fabrics with such properties as lasting UV resistance, sterilization, odor removal, fouling resistance, easy cleaning and ageing resistance. It can be used on cotton, linen, silk, wool, rayon, polyester, polyamide and blended fabrics to give them strong UV resistance to protect the human body from the harm of UV rays.
According to tests by the Japan Synthetic Textile Inspection Institute Foundation, fabrics treated with the photocatalytic finishing agent have a UV-blocking rate of 95%; After 5 washing cycles, the UV-blocking rate is 94%.
