Product Description
N-octyltriethoxysilane is a long chain alkylsilane, may be directly used undiluted as a water-repellent primer and impregnating agent for normal and reinforced concrete for bridges, roads and buildings, porous substrates and so on.
Good depth of penetration,
Highly resistant to alkalis,
Greatly delays water absorption by concrete,
Reduces loss of concrete due to frost/road salt attack,
Low volatility,
Water beading-water shedding surface.
Also can be used to modify the polyolefin resins (including PE, PP, PS, and so on), which can improve their cross-link speed, flexibility, weather resistance, wet strength an so on.
