This product is an important raw material for producing viscose-fiber cellophane paper, rubber promoter, agricultural chemicals, metal floatation agent, ect. Carbon disulfide is a good solvent for sulfur,

Phosphorus, iodine, rubber and paraffin, and it can also be directly used for producting pesticides of cereals.
