Corosolic Acid is an extract from the leaves of some plants such as Loquat, Lagerstroemia speciosa etc. Those are native Asian plants and are found in China, Japan, India, the Philippines and the Southeastern part of Asia. This ingredient is believed to be beneficial in treating type 2 diabetes because it may possess the ability to reduce glucose levels. This has been tested in mice. Corosolic Acid may also be beneficial in lowering the blood pressure as well as burning fat. It is also believed to have powerful antioxidant properties. The leaf is also well-known for its high contents of ursolic acid and corosolic acid at 1.0% and 0.8% respectively, which is almost double to that in the loguat leaves planted in other regions. So the ursolic acid and corosolic acid produced from the leaves of this GAP base certainly have the characteristics of green, safe, effective, stable and controllable.
